Photos of Londoners and tourists travelling on the Jubilee and Bakerloo Lines on the London Underground Tube network

Travelling on London Underground forces hundreds of thousands of people to be in a very small space for a limited amount of time. It's a dream for the camera, designed to capture so much in a moment.

These photos were taken on along a section of the north-bound Jubilee and Bakerloo lines, from Westminster Station to Swiss Cottage.

The photos are simply of people travelling on the Tube at various times in the afternoon and early evening.

(Yeah, it kinda annoys me that I have to paste huge watermarks on my photos, but I have learnt from experience that there's nothing more annoying or upsetting that turning on the internet to find your pictures posted elsewhere with advertising cut and pasted across them. I hope the branding isn't too distracting.)

The next train is destined for Stanmore - view of the north-bound Jubilee Line platform at Westminster Tube station

Although it's a little grainy I like this picture a lot, because in your mind you can hear the familiar noise of the train as it bursts out of the tunnel and into a station, on this occasion it's Baker Street.
